WEFT invites all the Practitioners in art, interior design, furniture design, architecture, and landscape practices from all over the world to join the workshop and play a role.
WEFT would be carrying out a construction workshop where in natural local elements and local materials available would be used with the help of local people to build up an artist-in-residence center.
This collaborative workshop would help everyone local community as well as all the volunteers to share their ideas from their experience & knowledge , learn from everyone and hence develop and deliver a best output.
Local builders and international volunteers would coloborate
The WEFT team includes Sam McPadden, Eddie winn in collaboration with NGO NKA foundation and Local Support are going to build up WEFT House Design (one of the Top Design entries in Nka Foundation’s 3rd Earth Architecture Competition: Designing for the Arts).
Location: Abetenim Arts Village in Ghana.

Extra activities : Weekends to e spent to explore cultural sites like Bomwire Kente Village, Bobiri Forest Reserve, or the cultural centres in the historic city of Kumasi, Ghana
