The companies recruit in both ways : On campus and Off campus.
So if you are having grades to minimum cut off you have preety good chance to sit into the interview and give a performance of 5 to 10 minutes during face to face interview.
If you don’t have good grades you wouldn’t be able to sit in the on campus but don’t worry at all. The following things will help you out.
Next is keep your profile updated on job portals like naukri.com and update something in it everyday (upload the same resume in it everyday) , so that it gets sorted by the employers.
Keep watching local newspapers and Classifieds for jobs.
Keep checking relevant walk-in jobs for you in it.
JOINING A COURSE
You can also join in a Workhop or Courses like (CAD, Product Design etc.). After completing the course the Teacher itself can land you a job.
There are various institute government like INDO GERMAN TOOL ROOM, you can join in them.
NETWORKING OR RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
The most powerful tool to get job is your network. Keep building network either personally , Professionaly (like ASME, ROBOCON, etc..), or Social Media Network (Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook etc…)
Personally building network means keeping in touch with your seniors and super seniors, Your friends, Collegues, family etc
Professionaly taking part in events like ASME, ROBOCON, and other LOCAL UNIVERSITY AND COLLEGES.
PROVIDING A SERVICE
If you are good at using some of the CAD softwares you could use your teaching skills to teach at some of the centers and that might bag you a job.
You can start by providing drawing and CAD services to the people or work as a freelancer with your skills.
